The 10th of October is world mental health day, the overall objective of WMH day is to raise awareness of mental health issues around the world. The COVID-19 pandemic has had a major impact on people's mental health.
In this situation where we are faced with the uncertainty and unknown, so, it is really very normal and understandable that people are experiencing fear in the context of this COVID-19 pandemic. Added to the fear of contracting the virus in this situation such as COVID-19 has significantly changed our daily routine, it restricted our movements. Faced with new challenges and realities of working from home, temporary unemployment, home-schooling of children, and lack of physical contact with our friends, family, and colleagues, so that's why it is important that we look after both our physical and as well mental health.
So now a big question arises: " How can we support someone with their mental health problems?"
Sometimes it will seem obvious when someone is going through a tough time, but there is no simple way of knowing if they have a mental health problem or not. Talking is the only barrier through which you can help someone in their crisis. Once you cross this barrier you will be able to know about the real reason behind their problem and what you can do to help them.
